Scott has had Christmas in his blood since the day he was born on December 15th. As a child. Scott was so obsessed with Christmas that he thought for the first seven years of his life, Santa dropped off his birthday presents too!

With Christmas always on his mind, Scott started working in electricity at the age of 12 helping his dad build McDonald’s Restaurants. He was fascinated by the different detailed lighting designs the McDonald’s Engineers conjured up and would look over the blueprints with his dad for hours, dreaming of the finished installations. Using those skills, and the money he saved, he headed for the University of Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Music where he dabbled in lighting design and graduated with a BFA in Electronic Media. That experience helped him “find his light” when he majored in Drama and Communications at the University of New Orleans where he holds an MFA.

After graduating, Scott toured around the world in various productions and was hired as Hercules, by Disney, where he met Jesse Cooper playing Peter Pan. They have been making magic, in business together with www.proctors,inc their nationwide hiring agency that just hit 15 years in 2023.

Scott’s keen eye for lighting and his lifelong experience with electricity makes him a well-rounded installer and designer, understanding the dos and don’ts when it comes to safety and all things lighting. He is thrilled to be a co-owner of Light the Lights and looks forward to bringing spectacular lighting designs and Christmas cheer to all his clients for years to come. Ho Ho Ho!
