Hello From Jesse

jesseChristmas is beyond special to me. We never celebrated holidays when I was a child. When I say no holidays, I mean nothing, no birthdays, no Easters, no Halloweens, and definitely no Christmases. So, when I was little, I would dream up all the different ways I would decorate and celebrate Christmas when I grew up.

Sure enough, the minute I moved to my own apartment, where I could fit a tree, I was instantly hooked and immediately felt the joy of Christmas! It wasn’t much, but it lit up my apartment and started what I call a healthy obsession.

I love Christmas! There I said it. I love talking about every detail from the colors of ribbon to convincing friends and clients to opt for a different shaped tree. Not celebrating Christmas as a kid, prepared me for a career in what I love and now I can’t wait to bring Christmas cheer to any space.

I love to fill a space with a rich, opulent style that fits the environment and the client I’m working with. I’m also one to try to push my clients to reach out of their Christmas comfort zone to try new styles, colors, and concepts of what Christmas can be. It’s a wonderful holiday with deep meaning and a million ways to interpret it through decorations.

My passion is being able to translate concepts into traditions and breath new life into old items and your spaces.

As a Christmas decorator, I've always been fascinated by the magic of the holiday season. But it wasn't until I started working in this field that I truly understood the importance of the most wonderful time of the year.

Growing up without Christmas, I always felt left out when I overheard my peers talking about their family traditions and the joy of Christmas morning. It wasn't until I was older that I realized how much I had missed out on.

But now, as a Christmas designer, I have the opportunity to create the joy and magic that I never experienced as a child. I have the opportunity to bring the festive spirit to other people's homes and businesses and witness the joy and happiness it brings them and their families.

It's funny how life works sometimes. The experiences we long for in our childhood often shape our passions and interests as adults. For me, not having Christmas as a child has become the driving force behind my passion for creating memorable and magical displays for others to enjoy.

So every time I put up a Christmas tree or string lights around a house, I do it with the same excitement and wonder that I wish I had experienced as a child. It's a small way of making up for lost time and sharing the joy of the season with others.

When you reach out to us at Light the Lights, know you will be pampered. So, sit back, relax, and let us create a Christmas spectacle for you!
